Qualifications

Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution, or equivalent recognized by ALA.
Experience with open educational resources (OER) and open education initiatives.
Ability to provide information literacy instruction, research consultations, and outreach to diverse learners.

Responsibilities

Partner with faculty, staff, and academic leaders to advance affordable learning through OER, library-licensed resources, and open content.
Collaborate with the Open SLCC team to support open education and licensing referrals.
Serve as liaison to an assigned SLCC school, building relationships and connecting programs with Library resources and services.
Provide information literacy instruction, research consultations, reference services, and outreach in various formats.
