Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Work Management Supervisor to oversee dispersed Work Management staff within Delivery Operations. You will develop and execute plans that standardize processes, balance workload, and engage teams while ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and cost control.

The role requires a strong track record in leadership, safety, and change management, with hands-on experience in work management systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma/GED and five (5) years of related experience.
• Associates degree or technical degree.
• Knowledge of Operations processes.
• Experience in work management and related applications.
• Demonstrates leadership in workplace safety.
• Ability to embrace and lead change.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate others to increase level of achievement and commitment between work groups.
• Evaluates performance accurately, fairly and consistently within a diverse workgroup.
• Previous training in Human Performance Improvement.
• Previous experience in Root Cause Analysis or problem solving.
• Maintains working knowledge of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Work Management employees across Delivery Operations.
• Develop efficiency gains through process standardization and resource sharing.
• Maintain net terms of contractor invoices and review/approve invoices.
• Create and implement work management plans that minimize resistance and maximize engagement.
• Implement new technology in work management to improve operations.
