Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a 12+ month contract in Elk Grove, CA. The role focuses on Windows systems, AD/GP, patching, and OT/industrial IT support in a large facility. Onsite work in Elk Grove, CA.

Candidates with IT infrastructure experience who want to grow into OT are encouraged to apply. Strong AD/GP, PowerShell scripting, and networking skills are expected, with a background in server administration and asset management.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• Experience with Windows patching and system maintenance.
• Strong IT fundamentals; familiarity with OT/industrial environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows servers and workstations in isolated OT environments.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy settings.
• Support patching, maintenance, and software updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Maintain backups and archive/recovery processes.
• Assist with asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Document resolutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support OT projects and script with PowerShell as needed.
