Zachary Piper Solutions in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to support a Navy-Marine Corps program. The role is onsite, full-time, with a Tue-Sat shift from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM, focusing on reliability, security, and scalability of Windows Server infrastructure.

You will patch, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, ensure compliance with STIGs, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver mission-critical services in classified and unclassified

Qualifications

Active Secret Security Clearance required.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
2–5 years of relevant IT experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Perform Windows Server patching and IAVA vulnerability remediation across enterprise environments.
Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 systems.
Support the complete infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Maintain Windows Server compliance with operational policies, security controls, and industry best practices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve OS, infrastructure, patching, and application issues.
