Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network operations within a large-scale Department of Defense environment.

The position is 100% onsite in Norfolk, VA, Honolulu, HI, or San Diego, CA, with responsibilities including Windows Server patching, STIG remediation, and ongoing security compliance. A Secret clearance and Security+ are required to perform in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Equivalent experience considered.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Windows Server patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities across enterprise environments.
• Build, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 systems.
• Support the full infrastructure lifecycle, including installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Execute STIG remediation activities and ensure systems maintain compliance with security and operational standards.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues and improve system reliability and security.
