Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month W2 contract with a leading utility in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role is onsite, with a Mon-Fri schedule and primarily office work with occasional site visits.

You will support wind turbine maintenance, lead root-cause analyses, review repair procedures, and assist with component replacements and reliability initiatives. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in wind energy or similar assets are required; GE/Vestas/Siemens

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of wind energy or equivalent equipment experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for wind turbine maintenance and restoration projects
Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions
Review repair procedures, technical reports and contractor scopes of work
Support major component replacements, blade programs and reliability initiatives
Develop repair recommendations and engineering solutions for mechanical issues
Work with OEMs, vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
Assist with project planning, budgeting and technical documentation
Contribute to fleet-wide reliability and continuous improvement efforts
