Job summary

Multiquip Inc. is seeking a Welder I to join our Lewisville, TX manufacturing team. This full-time, non-exempt role involves fabricating, assembling, repairing, and welding metal components used in our equipment products.

The position offers growth across Welder I–III levels based on demonstrated proficiency and department expertise. You will read blueprints, select equipment, lay out parts, and perform welding in multiple positions, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, welding certificate, or trade program preferred.
• Alternatively, six months to one year of welding experience or training.
• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication preferred.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation preferred.
• Knowledge of welding symbols and welding specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding diagrams, work orders, and layout specifications.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components using jigs and fixtures.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for bead size, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Support daily production schedules and safety procedures.
• Repair metal products and components as needed.
