Job summary

Stage 3 Separation, LLC in Houston, TX, is seeking an entry-level Weld Tech I to join the fabrication team. You will fit and weld metal parts per drawings, operate hand and power tools, and help meet daily production goals in a fast-paced shop.

Under the supervision of the Fabrication Manager, you will follow blueprints, maintain a clean, safe work area, and may work overtime or weekends as needed. Prior welding certificate and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum education equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in a fabrication environment.
• GMAW certificate required (1G–4G).
• Forklift certification preferred; on-site training available.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Welding certifications (carbon steel) and TIG/STICK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish grinding and welding to blueprint specs.
• Lay out, position, and fit components.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts for welding.
• Operate MIG and other tools safely; follow safety guidelines.
• Support fabrication team to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; may work at other locations.
