Job summary

GHD is seeking a Resident Project Representative in Scranton, PA to provide on-site construction observation and contract administration for water and wastewater projects. You will work with clients, contractors and regulators to ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance on site.

This field-based role involves collaboration with project teams across utilities and treatment facilities, with travel across PA as needed. A strong background in construction observation and Procore is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in construction observation and/or construction management including water and sewer main utility construction.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and Procore; comfortable with basic computer skills (email, apps).
• Willing and able to travel throughout the state of PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site observation of water and sewer main construction; includes related civil, piping, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and controls work.
• Perform operational and administrative data collection and analysis with reports and records.
• Represent GHD to clients, regulatory agencies, the public, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with shop drawing reviews.
• Field verify conformance with contract documents.
• Document information to prepare record drawings.
• Assist with contract close-out documentation.
