Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Mesquite facility. This on-site role reports to the Operations Manager and leads daily warehouse activities, coordinating between front-end, shipping, and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and safe operation.

You will manage shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, and cross-shift communication while maintaining OSHA compliance and a teamwork-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• Preferred experience with forklift operation and warehousing practices.
• Proficient in reading and writing legibly.
• Ability to analyze orders effectively.
• Strong communication skills to direct and interact with employees.
• Solid understanding of mathematics for inventory management.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
• Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills
• Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on achieving a collective goals.
• Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily functions of the concentrated areas as a hands-on leader.
• Act as liaison between Front End, Shipping Coordinator and Operations Supervisor.
• Chase orders to ensure timely completion for delivery and supervise shipping/receiving personnel.
• Assist Mesquite Fleet operations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Oversee storage and distribution of items from suppliers.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions and coordinate daily with Customer Service Representatives.
• Provide training to team members and enforce OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
• Support year-end physical inventory with the finance team.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts.
• Coordinate orders to meet loading and delivery schedules.
