Job summary

Spectra Tech, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support a government project at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This full-time, onsite role involves receiving, unloading, storing, and processing shipments, including manual handling and forklift operations.

You will document receipts, ensure accuracy, and maintain accountability for materials. The position requires adherence to SOPs and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, with citizenship required for DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow established SOPs.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials.
• Possession of a valid State Driver's license.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, store, and process shipments manually or with carts, forklift, or other non-mechanized conveyances.
• Assign a receipt control number and document it in Excel; annotate on receiving documents and packages.
• Assemble items into groups based on location and voucher data; segregate by vendors, detachments, or test items.
• Inspect materials and route to storage or designated organization per procedures; retrieve documentation as needed.
• Report damaged conditions to Government personnel and ensure accountability for non-expendable items.
• Apply bar codes and record item details for accountability; attach documents to repository records.
• Secure sensitive items such as CCI or weapons according to procedures.
• Coordinate shipments containing radioactive cargo with ARL Radiation Protection Officer when required.
• Operate Government-owned vehicles for delivery and pickup; ensure GVWR compliance.
• Prepare items for shipment and manage packing, labeling, and disposal of trash.
• Provide on-the-job training to other contractor personnel.
