Job summary

CHCP Healthcare and Educational Services LLC in Houston Northwest seeks a Vocational Nurse Adjunct Instructor to teach in person, mentor students, and share clinical expertise in our nursing program.

This onsite role requires a BSN or higher, Texas RN licensure, and at least three years of recent nursing practice; experience in pediatrics or obstetrics is preferred for lecture delivery.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Texas RN license.
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Pediatric and/or Obstetric clinical experience is required for lecture instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction following the approved curriculum.
• Prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in vocational nursing.
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic achievement.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Ensure compliance with CHCP policies, nursing program standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a mentor and professional role model for students.
