The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) in Houston Northwest campus is seeking a Vocational Nurse Adjunct Instructor to join our onsite team. This position requires teaching in person at the Houston Northwest campus and applying clinical expertise in the classroom.

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a dedicated Vocational Nurse Adjunct Instructor to join our Houston Northwest campus. As a VN Adjunct Instructor, you will provide engaging instruction, foster student success, and help prepare aspiring vocational nurses for rewarding careers in healthcare. This is an onsite position requiring instructors to teach in person at our Houston Northwest campus.

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction following the approved curriculum.
• Prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in vocational nursing.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Pediatric and/or Obstetric clinical experience is required for lecture instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Previous teaching or instructor experience in nursing or healthcare education.
• Experience mentoring or precepting nursing students or new nurses.

Teaching experience is not required. We welcome experienced nurses who are passionate about sharing your knowledge and developing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Work Schedule

• PRN/Adjunct
• Onsite instruction only at the Houston Northwest Campus.
• Flexible schedule based on course offerings and departmental needs.
• 6am-6pm
