Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented VMware Administrator to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. The position is onsite and focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware vSphere environments.

The role involves active collaboration with IT teams and requires excellent troubleshooting skills. The candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi administration, with strong virtualization knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience with storage, networking and server hardware.
• US citizenship and active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
• Manage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.
