Job summary

Saransh Inc. in Dearborn, MI on-site is seeking a Vehicle Controls Engineering Process Tools Engineer to design, implement, test, and support software tools for automotive calibration data management.

You will work with the Vehicle Controls Tools Technical Specialist and provide global user support, documenting changes and contributing to training materials for the Ford community. The role requires strong C/C++ knowledge, Unix/Linux experience, and robust debugging and GUI development

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in the C programming language with hands-on experience, preferably in embedded control systems.
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Working knowledge of C programming concepts including data structures, pointers, bit manipulation, file handling, hash tables, recursion.
Experience in Unix/Linux environments and development tools (Make/Makefiles, GDB, Vi/Vim).
Linux system programming, debugging with GDB, OS calls, file I/O; GUI development using Motif; database knowledge (Postgres).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, code, and test changes to software tools for automotive control systems.
Follow change control processes to bring approved changes to resolution.
Provide global user support via phone, email, Webex, and other channels.
Manage user accounts and access controls.
Contribute to training materials for the Ford community.
Document changes in manuals and media.
Participate in User Forum meetings.
