Job summary

Intuitive is building a design system library with React.js and TypeScript to be used by multiple product teams. We seek a UX Engineer to deliver a next-generation web experience, crafting innovative components and reusable front-end libraries for web and mobile applications.

You will work with UI/UX teams to translate designs into high-quality code, write tests, and create documentation while contributing to mission-critical projects that improve surgical technologies and patient care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building web apps with React.
• Experience writing tests with Jest/Enzyme and React Testing Library.
• Strong knowledge of React.js core principles.
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab source control.
• Ability to create technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Develop new user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to implement designs.
• Build reusable React components and front-end libraries.
• Create responsive components for web and mobile applications.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Document React component APIs and usage.
• Produce demo pages and sample code snippets.
