Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking an onsite associate to support assembly and manufacturing operations. You will use basic tools, perform quality checks, handle materials, and maintain safe work areas.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, ERP awareness, and experience with Office Suite. Workforce will require physical capability and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Maintain awareness and understanding of documents published in the BMS Library.
• Aerospace experience (a plus).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Understanding of ERP Systems.
• Basic reading skills; follow directions.
• Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to perform work accurately, timely and thoroughly.
• Detailed-oriented and self-motivation skills.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with proper material, parts and product handling at all times.
• Adherence to procedural requirements for packaging and unpackaging of materials, parts and product.
• Follow all Safety regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Assist Operations work centers with Assembly and/or Manufacturing processes.
• Use basic hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify defects and take appropriate measures, communicate and follow established non-conformance procedures.
• Perform all work in accordance with highest quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate forklift, palletjacks, cranes and jib hoist as needed.
• Able to bend, twist, walk and stand for entire shift.
• Perform other duties as required.
