Ingredion Incorporated in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Process Engineer - Utilities to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and sustainability. You will lead capital projects from concept to startup within an operating unit and collaborate across QC/QA, safety, health, environmental, and maintenance teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent, with preferred experience in corn wet milling processes.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Process improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes & equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects up to $10M or as part of a project team.
• Provide safety-focused engineering support for process design.
• Troubleshoot and implement improvements for efficiency and costs.
• Prepare studies, designs, and justifications for Operations goals.
• Maintain historical data to monitor key process metrics.
• Evaluate and implement safety, reliability, and operating-cost improvements.
• Develop concepts for new technologies to enhance facility life and product quality.
• Conduct process training and ensure documentation is updated.
