Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Urgent Care Cir Square in Colorado Springs is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for an onsite urgent care role. You will triage, assess, and provide direct nursing care following established protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, documentation, assisting with procedures, administering treatments and IV therapy as ordered. BLS is required; BSN preferred. Minimum 6 months nursing experience; on-site schedule, days shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• BLS certification required; certificate in-hand before start date.
• BSN preferred; licensure to practice nursing in Colorado.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and assess walk-in patients per protocol.
• Provide safe, direct nursing care and coordinate with physicians.
• Document plan of care and vital signs accurately.
• Administer treatments, injections and medications as ordered.
• Handle emergency situations and collaborate with clinic resources.
