Qualifications

• Urgent care or ED RN experience within the last three years.
• Graduate of board approved RN program and 750 clock hours of clinical experience under supervision.
• Colorado RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Evaluate health status through collection and assessment of health data.
• Analyze reports and records data to identify health care problems and plan.
• Prioritize patient needs; triage and follow up as required.
• Coordinate care and lead the health care team; advocate for patients.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Execute delegated medical functions including IV therapy and medications as prescribed.
• Refer patients to medical or community agencies as needed; monitor therapy and plans.
