RTX is hiring for a security-cleared role in Aurora, CO, requiring TS/SCI with poly and active clearance on day one. Onsite work 100% in Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX with strong DoD IAT Level 2 certification knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware, AWS, and storage systems. A broad benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years or prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance (on start date).
• Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date.
• IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
• Experience with Linux RedHat and Windows
• Experience with virtual/cloud computing technologies such as: Citrix, VMware, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include the monitoring and support of systems that are operational 24x7 and which occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
• You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, accurately document issues in logging and discrepancy reporting tools.
• The role will support system engineering groups as needed for ongoing analysis and integration efforts, design/implement updates to satisfy requirements flowed down from engineering, and upgrade existing COTS products to targeted baselines.
• This position serves as a help desk team member in a customer-facing environment, so the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with other teams and with the customer is of utmost importance, as you will be expected to uphold our excellent reputation.
• 100% onsite in Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX
