Job summary

RTX is seeking a dedicated janitor for our Richardson, TX facility. The role is onsite, 1st shift, with duties including general cleaning, floor care, and waste removal. Must be able to operate cleaning equipment and ladders, and to work per supervisor instructions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of custodial experience; a valid driver’s license is required to navigate the site. This position requires a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 months custodial experience (stripping, waxing, polishing floors).
• Carpet cleaning care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to drive around site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain a clean facility (floors, restrooms, windows, walls, stairs).
• Operate forklifts and janitorial cleaning equipment; use ladders as needed.
• Remove waste and metal chips; maintain clean rooms per specs.
• Support general area upkeep and ensure orderly workspaces.
• Comply with site safety and security standards.
