Job summary

Oil-Dri Corporation of America is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate customer deliveries, appointments, and shipping activities. The role connects with Customer Service, Production, Logistics, Shipping, and carriers to align demand and delivery schedules.

The position requires coordinating domestic and international shipments from an onsite location, with Monday–Friday availability and daily onsite presence to support operations and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or scheduling experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Schedule customer delivery and pickup appointments.
• Coordinate transportation activities for domestic and international shipments.
• Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and update loads within JDE.
• Monitor appointment schedules and loading activity.
• Coordinate drayage and export-related transportation requirements.
• Support rail shipment coordination activities.
• Work closely with production scheduling teams when priorities change.
• Develop and maintain transportation and service metrics.
• Document and maintain logistics procedures and work instructions.
