Job summary

Getinge is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist affiliated with Paragonix Technologies to deliver on-site clinical guidance for organ preservation devices across the US. You will support transplant teams, provide real-time decisions, and assist with app usage and credentialing.

The role emphasizes traveling within 30 minutes of a major airport, collaborating with surgical teams and sales as needed in a contract-based framework. A healthcare- or science-focused degree is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, health care, science, or technology) or equivalent education or experience in related field.
• Must be detail oriented and able to provide accuracy in communication.
• Must have the ability to work with all levels of personnel in several healthcare settings and able to adapt to work within the particular guidelines of various institutions.
• Must be able to simultaneously execute upon multiple complex processes and exercise discretion to prioritize tasks to optimize workflow to ensure compliance with established policies and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and recommendations to medical transplant teams in the proper, safe, and effective use of highly specialized organ preservation equipment.
• Make independent, real-time decisions and provide guidance for time-critical transplant situations to the surgical teams.
• Train medical personnel on the Paragonix App and how to use organ preservation equipment.
• Provide time-critical usage guidance on organ preservation devices and applications on a case-by-case basis.
• Establish and maintain credentialing at client facilities and manage related documentation.
