Job summary

Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, is seeking a Project Manager in Akron, OH to lead transmission line, substation, and communications construction programs.

You will manage 10–20 projects, collaborate with Engineering & Client Stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with safe practices. Onsite role with 80/20 office-to-field ratio, travel within 1–3 hour radius.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is required.
• Minimum five years of HV transmission line or substation PM experience with cost & schedule management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel within 1–3 hour radius from reporting location.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–20 projects from inception to completion.
• Vet initial scope and develop a project work plan with engineering & client stakeholders.
• Develop outage requests and sequenced work plans with SMEs & client partners.
• Coordinate procurement of major and minor materials with Engineering.
• Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittal.
• Develop RFP packages, evaluate bids, and recommend awards.
• Lead pre-construction and progress meetings; drive schedule and field progress.
• Maintain project budgets and update financial forecasts.
