Quanex is seeking a Tooling Technician to join our onsite team in Wahpeton, North Dakota. You will prepare and maintain tooling for production, ensuring high-quality results that meet customer specifications and support efficiency.

The role offers $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, with starting wage based on experience and clear overtime expectations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing experience and AutoCAD familiarity, along with practical measurement tool skills.

Qualifications

• High school教育 or equivalent required.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Experience with calipers, dial indicators and basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain tooling for production runs.
• Assemble tooling ahead of production and provide backups.
• Coordinate tool improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of machine operations to support product manufacturing.
