Job summary

Continental is hiring a Production Worker 1 in Wahpeton, ND to operate machinery, assemble products and monitor quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will follow safety protocols, document results, participate in 5S housekeeping, and work with teammates to hit daily production targets and continuous improvement goals.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred; candidates should be able to stand most of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Basic mechanical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assembly: Assemble products or components accurately and efficiently following instructions.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report issues to the supervisor.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Documentation: Complete paperwork and data entries accurately and on time.
• Housekeeping & 5S: Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in line with 5S standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and suggest process improvements.
