Job summary

DeWALT Service Technician is an on-site role in Norwood, MA, working weekdays with first shift responsibilities in a production-like environment. You will repair portable tools, troubleshoot failures, inspect equipment for safety, and document work orders while maintaining inventory and meeting productivity goals.

Candidates should be able to interpret mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, and servicing data, diagnose faults, and perform calculations.

Qualifications

• Interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and servicing data.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs to portable electric, pneumatic tools, construction equipment, and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failure and replace worn or defective parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inspect and repair tools for safe operation and perform post-repair testing.
• Process work orders with parts, labor, and customer data.
• Manage parts inventory and assist with pricing.
