Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a DeWALT Service Technician for the 1st shift, onsite in Carrollton, TX. You will repair portable electric and pneumatic tools, troubleshoot faults, document work orders, and maintain inventory while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes learning on the job, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and meeting daily productivity goals. Training is provided; prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics and servicing data.
• Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow for power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Meet daily/weekly productivity goals without sacrificing quality.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Adapt to various technological systems and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs to portable electric, pneumatic tools, construction equipment and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failures by disassembling units and replacing worn/defective parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inspect, analyze and repair tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Perform performance and safety testing after repair.
• Complete work orders with parts, labor, pricing and customer info.
• Manage inventory and ensure accuracy of parts and accessories.
• Achieve daily productivity goals on tools repaired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
