Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a DeWALT Service Technician for the on-site first shift.

This role includes hands-on repair and diagnostic work on portable electric and pneumatic tools, with on-the-job training provided. You will troubleshoot faults, interpret mechanical diagrams and wiring schematics, perform simple math, and maintain a safe, organized shop while handling repair parts and work orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow as it applies to power tools.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Goal driven mentality with productivity targets.

Responsabilités

• Handle simple repairs to portable electric and pneumatic tools, light construction equipment, and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failures—fully or partially disassembling units to examine components and replace worn parts.
• Assist with maintenance of shop equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation prior to use and return to storage in good condition.
• Complete work orders with repair parts, labor, pricing and customer information.
• Manage inventory by ensuring accuracy with parts and accessories.
• Other duties as assigned.
