Job summary

Hertz Corporation is seeking an Onsite Tire and Lube Technician in Hawaii (Lihue area). This entry-level role offers an hourly rate of $19.50 with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

The position requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with training provided. You will perform vehicle repairs with oversight, operate lifts and tire-changing equipment, and utilize alignment machines and scan tools.

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience:

• Entry level position with no required experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Minimum tools needed for the job.
  • 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
  • Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
  • Oil Filter wrenches and tools
  • TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
