Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Tire and Lube Technician (Part Time) at our Lihue, HI location. You will service vehicles, change tires, and perform lube tasks with supervision. Entry-level role with training provided; a valid driver’s license and your own tools are required.

Qualified candidates may receive weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, and benefits after 30 days of employment. This onsite role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn ASE-certified skills.

Educational Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience

• Entry level position with no required experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Minimum tools needed for the job.
  • 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
  • Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
  • Oil Filter wrenches and tools
  • TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
  • Combo wrenches
  • Screwdrivers
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
