Job summary

Selectemp in Bend, Oregon is hiring a TIG Welding and Manufacturing Technician on-site. The role pays $24–$26 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 6:30 am to 4 pm schedule and an ASAP start date.

You will support precision welding and fabrication, collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and quality control to deliver high-quality products in a safe environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on TIG welding experience, a basic understanding of metal fabrication and technical drawings, great attention

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with TIG welding.
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina, dexterity, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding according to blueprints, drawings and instructions for stainless steel and aluminum.
• Monitor production processes to ensure accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE protocols, including lockout/tagout.
• Record production data such as quantities produced, scrap rates, and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control to meet production goals.
