Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Scheduling Manager for a thermal project in New Albany, Ohio. This onsite, full-time role requires leading planning and scheduling activities with project leadership, field operations, and subcontractors to deliver a detailed, logic-driven schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in construction planning and scheduling, experience with large industrial projects, and proficiency in Primavera P6, CPM, and TIAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience with large-scale industrial/thermal projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional (5–10 years preferred).
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling, risk identification, progress measurement, and recovery planning.
• Experience with schedule change management, delay analysis, and TIAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling with project leadership and stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed schedules.
• Develop, manage, and maintain the baseline schedule aligned with the execution plan and milestones.
• Monitor schedule progress, critical paths, float, and milestones; identify delays and recommend actions.
• Collect and incorporate schedule updates from subcontractors and team; ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and narratives for status and risks.
• Perform variance analysis, critical path assessments, delay analysis, and TIAs as needed.
