Collins Aerospace is seeking a Test Technician in Santa Isabel, PR. The role involves planning, conducting, and reporting testing on products under development, and providing feedback to stakeholders. You will set up test stands, calibrate equipment, and interpret data to support public release.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with an Associate degree in electronics or related technical training and at least 1 year of relevant experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Electronics or technical education with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Interact with engineering and manufacturing teams on routine technical matters.
• Set up and operate test stands and configure test equipment for tests.
• Interpret and record test results; troubleshoot and isolate equipment failures.
• Read maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics to guide testing.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff.
• Perform entry-level troubleshooting, calibration, or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
• Fabricate hardware or fixtures from drawings or sketches.
• Estimate labor, material, and costs; maintain accurate time and usage records.
