Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite Electronics Assembler in Phoenix, AZ. You will assemble and repair electronic units, read engineering data, and document work status. This role requires basic HS education and 2+ years in relevant work, with a 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

The position is safety sensitive and involves handling chemicals and moving equipment, with comprehensive benefits and sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm.
• IPC Class III soldering certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.
• Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials for assembly and repair.
• Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools.
• Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately.
• Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and maintenance manuals.
• Document clear work status and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate progress to team members and support staff.
• Utilize computer skills and office software.
