Job summary

The Marvin Group, a defense contractor with expertise in military aerospace and vehicle systems, is seeking a Test Engineer II to drive test program development and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. You will design and fabricate test fixtures, interpret CAD models, and support production testing across multiple test platforms.

The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering degree and hands-on experience with signal generators, oscilloscopes, RF/EMI analysis, and LabVIEW.

Qualifications

4-year electrical engineering degree or equivalent; 3+ years in a related technical field with mechanical engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot testers and cable harness testers.
Experience with EMI, RF, analog and digital circuits in test development and hardware test requirements for volume manufacturing.
Experience developing production test systems and reading schematics.
Proficiency with data analysis, documentation, and test reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead or assist in test projects, develop test processes and fixtures, and ensure documentation is complete and approved.
Prepare and compile test reports with data analysis, results, and verification.
Write test plans and procedures, train personnel, and verify training effectiveness.
Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot test systems, circuits, and assemblies.
Perform root cause analysis for test incidents and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to share knowledge and support new test program readiness.
