Job summary

The Test Engineer at Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. supports production for test equipment, including hardware setup and software development, tailored to customer requirements. The role reports to the Test Engineering Manager and is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities span designing test fixtures, aiding DFx, sustaining test data reports, and coordinating calibration and installation of instruments to optimize test capability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent; 2+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with networking hardware and software preferred.
• Experience designing test fixtures.
• Experience with automated test equipment, calibration, and configuration management.
• Genrad ICT development and debugging experience a plus.
• Languages: Visual Basic, .NET, C++, C, LabVIEW and Shell Scripting.
• Applications: MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, Altium Designer, Visual Basic and Master Control.
• Knowledge and use of an ERP system.
• Flying probe development and debugging a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit board layout for new and existing test stations using Altium Designer.
• Support production with failure analysis, test debugging, and reduction of downtime.
• Lead test improvements to reduce time, improve coverage, and automate equipment.
• Develop documentation from test design to production.
• Generate monthly/quarterly test data reports and recommendations for customers.
• Review test equipment designs, capacity, and data with customers.
