Job summary

Collins Aerospace, based in Riverside, CA, is seeking a skilled engineer to advance composite technologies within the R&T department of Engineering. The role focuses on manufacturing process support, prototype and demonstrator builds, and daily process development in a collaborative environment.

You will interact with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure on-time, compliant delivery while advancing TRL and MRL milestones and driving continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing process development and prototype builds.
• Ability to work closely with Engineers and Technicians on daily process development.
• Familiarity with TRL and MRL toll gates.
• Strong cross-functional communication with programs, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and execute prototype and demonstrator builds.
• Work closely with Engineers and Technicians on daily process development.
• Support the development of technologies in adherence with TRL and MRL toll gates.
• Interact between Engineering groups to ensure on-time and quality execution of tasks.
• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements (TRL, MRL, EHS, CMS, QMS, PPAP).
• Engage in problem solving initiatives and process improvement.
