Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns, while growing the client base and building lasting relationships in your local community.

You will engage with new prospects, support local marketing efforts, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience using TurboTax software.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willingness to work onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• English/Spanish bilingual communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects.
• Lead local marketing efforts and convert leads into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation for customers.
• Facilitate tax reviews, uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and offer tax planning advice.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video tools, addressing inquiries and challenges.
