Job summary

SonicJobs is recruiting on behalf of Intuit to fill a TurboTax Local Service Expert position in a TurboTax location across the United States. You will work on-site with a team of tax professionals to provide hands-on tax preparation, advice, and software support for in-person and virtual clients.

You will build local client relationships, expand the TurboTax footprint, and connect customers with complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes
• Experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00–17:00, 20 hours/week minimum
• Willing to complete required training and development as determined by the business
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising with name
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence and creating tax-content resources
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients
• Identify deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide tax planning
• Collaborate with local experts to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services
• Grow TurboTax client base through local outreach, events, and partnerships
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience using Intuit resources and tools
