Job summary

Wipfli LLP seeks motivated accounting interns to gain hands-on tax experience in a full-time, in-person role across client engagements. You will work with professionals and develop skills in tax preparation, data analysis, and client communications.

Interns must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, demonstrate solid GPA, and be eligible to sit for the CPA exam after graduation; strong analytical and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting (corporate or individual taxation class is preferred)
• GPA at least 3.0; CPA exam eligibility in progress
• Data Analytics or Big Data coursework preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner
• Gather information from clients to complete required documents
• Use data analysis to identify information and patterns to support recommendations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes for efficiency
• Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections as directed
