Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager General for an on-site role in Englewood, CO. This 12+ month contract involves leading substation, transmission line, and telecom projects from planning through closeout.

The position requires 5+ years in utility transmission or substation projects, strong leadership, and experience coordinating diverse teams and client stakeholders. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing Transmission lines or Substation projects.
• Experience in project management phases, construction support, leadership, client relations, portfolio & program support.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related degree from accredited program and min 5+ years in utility transmission projects.
• PE or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation, transmission line, and telecom projects from inception through design and construction to closeout.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, risks, and resources to meet in-service dates.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and client stakeholders for project success.
• Develop multi-year capital plans and manage outage sequencing for construction.
• Maintain regular status updates and reporting for clients and sponsors.
• Conduct project meetings with engineering, construction, environmental, and real estate resources.
