Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a 12-month contract based in Englewood, CO.

The role focuses on leading cross-functional teams through substation and transmission projects from inception to closeout, with onsite work and weekly site visits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, at least 5 years in utility transmission projects, and familiarity with ProjectWise, SharePoint, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility transmission projects (T-Line or substation) or related industries.
• Experience with project management processes and portfolio coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to execute substation, transmission line, and telecom projects from inception through design and construction to closeout.
• Oversee 5–20 projects concurrently of varying sizes and voltages (4kV–765kV).
• Manage projects for schedule adherence, risk identification, and completion of in-service dates.
• Navigate client gate approval processes and present to senior/executive management as required.
• Coordinate resources for construction, testing, and field activities; provide regular status updates.
