Job summary

TAFF Inc. is seeking a Systems Analyst 1 to manage software distribution and SCCM operations from Austin, TX. The candidate will coordinate security patches, maintain client health, and deliver reports to align hardware/software needs.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with SCCM, Intune, WSUS, AD, and ITIL processes. Only onsite applicants in the Austin area will be considered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience with SCCM, Intune, and WSUS.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, security, and OS internals.
• Networking concepts including DNS, protocols, and network devices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills; excellent customer service.
• ITIL Change Management experience.
• Experience with software patch deployment in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage software distribution including Microsoft security upgrades and standard desktop software.
• Create packages, collections, and advertisements for distributions.
• Create custom reports and dashboards for planning corporate hardware and software requirements.
• Work with corporate security to identify and remediate workstation risks.
• Provide 3rd level support for the SCCM infrastructure and standard desktop software.
• Meet with internal clients to assess needs, identify key challenges, and define project scope and deliverables for software deliveries.
• Investigate and solve issues with Configuration Manager Client on endpoints.
• Troubleshoot and correct SCCM client and distribution point errors.
• Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues.
• Administer the SCCM tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy.
• Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy.
