Job summary

XPECT Solutions, LLC seeks a Systems Administrator to support a Federal Government Client in Columbia, SC. This 100% onsite role requires rotating shifts and readiness for nights, days, weekends, and holidays. Training is 8:00–16:30 for 8–12 weeks before shift assignment.

Security clearance is required; candidates may already hold one or must obtain it. Core duties include 24/7 remote and on-site admin, network and systems monitoring, and Tier 2 support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS or related IT field.
• Microsoft Fundamentals or CompTIA certs or equivalent.
• 2 years IT Help Desk support in Windows Active Directory environment.
• 2 years experience in Windows AD, network, IT operations and hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers and desktop applications.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, holidays and weekends.
• Onsite 100% in Columbia, SC.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 remote, over-the-phone administration, support, and technical assistance to IT staff.
• Monitor and manage critical IT infrastructure in a Network Operations Center environment.
• Provide Tier 2 Network and Systems Administration.
• Support end users in a 24/7 facility via phone and email.
• Assist 24/7 management and monitoring of critical IT infrastructure.
