Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician B to support electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems. You will assist in testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and components from drawings and manuals while learning to navigate complex machinery.

The position is onsite in Salt Lake City on a 12-month contract to hire with a swing shift starting between 2:00–3:30 pm and a 9-hour workday under a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant technical experience or an Associate Degree with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Developing technical knowledge with the ability to follow established processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical systems.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with test equipment or quality control tools.
• Ability to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and components using engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and written/verbal instructions.

Skills
