Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician C to support a range of technical activities across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems. The role is onsite in Salt Lake City on a 12-month contract-to-hire with a 9/80 schedule.

You will assist in design, construction, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment, following engineering drawings and manuals while supporting operation of complex machines or computer-based systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate Degree with 2+ years related experience.
• Experience with complex machinery, instrumentation, or computer-based systems.
• Hands-on work on a shop floor.
• Familiarity with test procedures, measurement tools, or precision equipment.
• Interest in continuous improvement and enhancing technical processes.
• Ability to obtain a clearance.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience working with complex machinery, instrumentation, or computer‑based systems.
• Experience with hands‑on work on a shop floor
• Familiarity with test procedures, measurement tools, or precision equipment.
• Interest in continuous improvement and enhancing technical processes.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine technical issues using established processes.-Ability to obtain a clearance
