Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician B for on-site support in Salt Lake City. You will assist in testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems while learning to interpret drawings and instructions.

This weekend position runs 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday, on a 12-month contract-to-hire basis. Qualified candidates typically hold a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of technical

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate Degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
Developing technical knowledge with the ability to follow established processes and procedures.
Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical systems.
Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with test equipment or quality control tools.-Ability to obtain a clearance

Responsibilities

Assist in testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and components.
Work from engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and written and verbal instructions.
Learn to navigate complex machinery and systems.
Support testing and maintenance for electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
