Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking an onsite resource manager for a major university in the Boston area.

You will champion waste reduction strategies, oversee day-to-day operations, and serve as the primary liaison between the university and Casella to achieve sustainability goals. Applicants must reside in the greater Boston area or be willing to relocate, hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1–3 years of customer service experience, and be able to travel about 60% with valid driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required with 1–3 years in customer service.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel ~60% and relocate to the greater Boston area if needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of program obligations and activities for the campus sustainability contract.
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and program influencers.
• Measure contract performance and conduct client and Casella reporting.
• Lead meetings and communicate across operations, client stakeholders and partners.
• Conduct audits to improve waste reduction, process, and program outcomes.
• Develop education programs and lead facility tours to promote recycling efforts.
• Support strategy development with operations, sustainability and growth teams.
